what the Bible says about eating disorder

About Hungry Souls

Many books have been written about eating disorder, from every conceivable angle—except one.  Not one book has connected what happens in eating disorder to what happens in the spirit.  Not one book has connected the Bible to eating disorder—until now.  Hungry Souls:  What the Bible Says About Eating Disorder examines the characteristics of eating disorder in light of Biblical truth.  By applying God’s Word to what happens inside eating disorder, Hungry Souls uncovers how eating disorder first began, discovers why eating disorder is mainly a women’s issue and reveals the sins that contribute to this illness.

Hungry Souls explores prophecies relevant to anorexia and bulimia, exposes the connection between eating disorder and sexuality and discloses the church’s role in this epidemic.  Many books offer Christ as the solution to eating disorder, but Hungry Souls is the only one to explain Biblical symbolism and miracles relevant to this sickness.  Hungry Souls is the only book to demonstrate that God’s Word powerfully addresses eating disorder, before it starts through to its resolution.  For those frustrated by treatment methods that focus solely on behavior but neglect the spirit, Hungry Souls offers fresh insight and inspired hope.

Catherine Boyle experienced anorexia and bulimia for many years.  After overcoming eating disorder, Catherine believed God would not leave such a devastating sickness untouched in His Word.  In her quest to learn God’s position about eating disorder, Catherine found that in His Word God has provided specific scriptures to explain the progression of eating disorder and to free women held in its grasp.
